Ireland said he didn’t think they should celebrate but Sedano and Kap both disagree. ![]() The Dodgers clinched the NL West last night - and Sedano wants to know why people can’t enjoy it more. Ireland dives right into the controversy of the Suns owner Robert Sarver and asks the guys their thoughts on the situation and how NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has handled it. Sedano & Kap start off the show with some Crosstalk with Ireland & Andy Kamanetzky, who is in for Mason. USC is about to face their first real test so far this season with Oregon State - could this be a trap game? The guys talk about what his fate is in the closing role and what the Dodgers might do with the bullpen in the postseason. Plus, Sedano talks about why we don’t bring up certain things on the show… Dave Roberts has been very patient with Craig Kimbrel all season but last night it sounded like he’s run out of patience with him as the closer. Then after talking it out, he decides that might not actually be a great idea after all. Sedano is calling Sunday’s Chargers-Jaguars game and wonders if he should bring his kids and in-laws to the game. ![]() They also bring up Kap’s bathroom story AGAIN. Ireland explains why he doesn’t really engage with their community. They talk about Mason’s hot tub pic that he posted yesterday and the funny memes it inspired in their respective show’s Twitter communities. Sedano & Kap start off the show with some Crosstalk with Mason & Ireland. Kap is going to the Foo Fighers charity concert tonight and invites Sedano to go - and bring his wife for her birthday - hoping to put him in a better mood, but then Kap reveals he doesn’t actually have tickets and there are some cracks in his plan. Kap tries to cool him down and brings up his spicy sandwich, which he finds out is named after his girlfriend. Sedano gets heated about this whole Lakers not liking him thing and goes off about it, and says he is open and honest and doesn’t sugar coat things. Kap is confused by Ireland’s Lakers comment and asks Sedano to explain whether it’s actually true and if it is, why the Lakers organization “doesn’t like” him. Plus they talk about the company email sent out today about Producer Lindsey’s birthday - even though today isn’t her birthday. ![]() They bring up Lakers Media Day and Ireland’s comment that Sedano is the least liked person at the station by the Lakers. GUEST - Alan Sliwa joins the show to talk about tonight’s Lakers-Kings matchup and whether it’s a big deal that Anthony Davis isn’t playing due to “back tightness” and what Russell Westbrook will do as the sixth man. D’Marco asks about the signs in the studio that say “Profiteer” and “rat” - which prompts the crew to explain to him the story of #HeyKing t-shirt gate. Then they get into the Padres-Dodgers series and D’Marco says he’s on the fence about becoming a Dodgers fan and explains his hesitation. The guys start the show off with a Happy Birthday shout out to Stephen A Smith - and how Kap and Morales worked together with Stephen A 20 years ago! And it turns out, D’Marco worked with him around the same time - on The Best Damn Sports Show. Plus Mason says the NLDS is over for the Padres. They talk about the Rams and whether Sunday is a “must win” for the Rams.
